The Smiths were an average family.Alice was the homemaker, Simon had a steady job driving for Hertz. They’d been wed for 15 years and had son aged 10 and a son aged 8 and a lived in a detached house in Cheadle in Cheshire. They were thinking of going on vacation to Benidorm on the Costa Blanca at Christmas.
So life was secure and they were very comfortable. They had good friends, mostly through the school that their son and daughter attended and a busy social life.
And then things changed. James had been having intermittent headaches for the past two weeks but hadn’t thought much about it – certainly no cause to be absent from work to see the Doctor. Gemma had given him a box of paracetamol to take to work just in case it became much worse.
It was a Tuesday and the day started just like any other. Amanda was in her p-jays in the kitchen making a salad for Richard to take to work. The little ones were at loggerheads as usual. Simon was in the bathroom shaving.
Then there was a big bang. It wasn’t like a plant pot dropping on the floor. It was somehow ominous, like a huge bag of spuds falling. And it came from the bathroom.
Mary’s heart fell. In some way instinct told her something wasreally wrong, very very wrong. In a jiffy she was up the stairs and pressed to the bathroom door. It swung open a tiny bit and ceased. She pushed and pushed but something was obstructing the door from opening any more. She poked her head around the door and the blood oozed from her face. There was Neil stock still on the floor, curled up face down.
For a moment she tensed. Then she shrieked with terror
It took 16 minutes for the ambulance to appear and just 6 more minutes for the Paramedics to confirm that Neil had just had a severe stroke. Would he recover? To be truthfull he was very ill. The Consultant would be able to confirm how serious things were at the hospital.
Richard did survive. He had four long months in the hospital followed by 4 more months at a expert treatment centre. To begin with he was in a wheelchair but in time he began to walk small distances with the aid of crutches.
But at age 33 he would never work again.
Could this be your worst nightmare?
Data shows that 2 out of10 men and 2 out of ten women endure a critical illness before their normal retirement age. Richard was very young to have had a stroke but in life there are always risks.
Simon’s stoke came out of the blue but plenty of families do take out insurance to offer financial help should something like this transpire. It’s know as Critical Illness Insurance. This formof insurance gives out a tax free lump sum if the policyholder is indentified with a critical illness. A characteristicly insured sum would be in the 120,000 pounds to 200,000 pound – it’s for the insured to decide. (What constitutes a “critical illness” is made plain within the policy documents but they nearly always cover strokes, cancer and heart attacks and normally lots of other conditions and illnesses as well.)
Life Insurancecan’t help heal the stroke but it could make sure that financially, things were OK.
Trading the commodities future market is a real option for those wanting to make their money work for them. This maket offers some distinct advantages but also some disadvantages. It is really important for novice investers to learn about this market before putting any funds at risk.
This market involves buying and selling contracts for future delivery of various commodities, including currencies. These contracts evolved when farmers started to seek out delivery arrangements for their crops. Prices and delivery times were agreed to, which helped both farmer and processor to make firm plans for activities in the future.
This contract for future deliver of a commodity can be freely sold by the holder to any other agreable buyer. It is always possible that eight the seller or the buyer has changed their minds about letting the contract continue to matureity. This allows for either of the participants to exit the contract, possibly at a profit. The obligation is then passed on to the next person to hold the contract. This transfer of contracts has become know as the futures trading market.
A great number of people and institutions have discovered that trading these future contracts has been a good way to make profits. Often the contracts are sold and bought with out the intention of actually delivering or taking delivery of the commodity. All that the buyer or seller was interested in was the profits from the change in the price from the time of the original transaction. These people or institutions are know as the speculators who try to profit from the buying or selling of these futures trading contracts. This comes from buying a contract at a low price and selling it at a higher price or conversely selling a contract at a high price and then buying it back at a lower price.
Knowledge of the market and the events that influence it are vital. Ones trading position is highly leveraged, that is the buyer does not have to put up the entire value of the contract. Only an amount known as the margin must be maintained to continue the ownership of the contract. This works wonders if the market moves in the expected direction, but can magnify your losses if the market moves against you. Knowing how to minimize your losses is important if you are to conserve your capital.
This is a remarkably popular theme on the Net. Corporations always have documents, receipts and other sorts of data which needs processing. In the old days this would have been accomplished in-house.
But more and more companies are now getting wind of the fact that the Web has exposed an abundance of options when they want their data entry work performed. Those who have not woken up to the outsourcing marvel which is occurring globally before our very eyes will have to take note soon otherwise they will be left for dead.
With huge volumes of people getting on the web in developing nations such as India, Pakistan and several other Eastern countries combined with the continued evolution of outsourcing portals such as free data entry sites like this the competition for this data entry at home work can be furious.
But there is real hopelessness out there. Some people are so desperate to get this type of work that they will talk themselves into believing that there are millions to be had doing data entry work on the Internet. Where ever we find desperation we have the sharks waiting to sink their razor sharp fangs into their poor unsuspecting mug.
Scammers are all over the place in this work at home category and while there is legitimate data entry work to be found online there are equally those blood suckers who would take milk from a baby, sitting in wait for the next newbie.
Thankfully we did find one site which separates the flotsam and jetsam bringing the casual freelancer a truly magnificent resource for smoking out work online. This data entry online jobs site finds a job every single day. You’ll also find decent reviews, sometimes with videos, of data entry web sites and other work at home destinations. A cool resource for work from home gigs, “Free Data Entry Sites” will steer you in the right direction for work at home openings. Well worth a peep.
It is true that the Spanish do not holiday in their own country in the same way that most Euopeans do within Spain and the Canary Islands. The Spanish enjoy staying with friends and relatives in their own country as a holiday and see no point in paying for hotel accommodation or private villa rental in their own country.
Even though the South East Coastal regions of Spain stay warm all year round, the Spanish don’t care for hanging out around the tourist resorts much like the Brits in general are not that eager to spend their main holidays hanging out along the East Coast of the UK.
However, as the economic downturn bites into the UK, Tenerife has noticed a large decrease in the number of Brits travelling to Tenerife for holidays in the last quarter of 2008 and all expectations are for this trend to stay the same for some time to come! Yet the number of Spanish holidaying in Tenerife is on the increase even though the Department of Tourist Investigation of the Tenerife Tourism Board announced that October was down by 6.9% on last year for total visitors to the Island. The ten months up to October had shown a 1.38% overall increase to 4,443,426 tourists in 2008.
The holiday firm behind the Nerja Apartments booking agency confirmed that travellers from the UK to Spain was still bouyant and that plans to open a new Tenerife Apartments agency would still be going ahead early 2009 whilst solidifying the Marbella Apartments position in the market place as they increase market share. They acknowledge the subtle change being experienced in customer mix and are developing multiple language options for their websites.
